A Separation from Service is deemed to occur if you are on a bona fide unpaid leave of absence for more than 6 months. Once you incur a Separation from Service due to a bona fide unpaid leave of absence, your 409A SRP Benefit will be paid in accordance with the timing rules for payments that commence due to a reduction in hours.
