Your covered family member becoming eligible for the federal or a state Health Insurance Marketplace Exchange is considered a qualified family status change. This means that you can change certain before-tax benefits without waiting for the next annual enrollment period.

The Company reserves the right to ask you or your covered family member for proof of the qualified family status change. Failure to provide such proof within the timeframe specified may result in a loss of coverage and you may be required to pay for any services that you and your family members used while ineligible for coverage.
