Nationwide® pet insurance helps you cover eligible veterinary expenses so you can provide your pets with the care they need. This plan offers pet insurance to help meet the costs for caring for your pets. The chart below contains some important program features. For more information, see "How the Plan Works."

How the Plan Works
  • Pet insurance, from Nationwide®, is made directly available to all eligible employees. My Pet Protection® from Nationwide® offers reimbursement for accidents, illnesses, hereditary conditions and more. Generally, care is covered after you meet your deductible and submit a claim for reimbursement of medical expenses for your pet.
  • You can get cash back on eligible vet bills after the $250 annual deductible is met.
  • You can choose between two reimbursement options: 50% and 70%�
  • You can enroll in an optional $500 wellness benefit�.
  • You're free to use any veterinarian.

Enrollment
  • You may enroll your pet for pet insurance at any time by accessing Nationwide's enrollment website, http://benefits.petinsurance.com/mmc-pr, or by calling +1 800 225 2265, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern time and advising the member care representative of your employer.
  • Once enrolled, go to Colleague Connect (https://mmcglobal.sharepoint.com/sites/Home), click Pay & Benefits and select Mercer Voluntary Benefits under Benefits to view your deduction amount. If you wish to change coverage, where eligible, you must contact the Plan Administrator.
